Wedding Photographer Accidently Shot Dead at Wedding Party

New York - July 27th 2010 - A 45-year-old marriage photographer named Calogero Scimea was inadvertently killed in Sicily by a gunshot when he made the prospective bride Valentina Anitra, 22, and groom Ignazio Licodia, 25 pose for a photograph using rifles as props. The wedding party was horrified as one of the rifles being used as props went off hitting the photographer on his head killing him on the spot.

Bronx, New York - July 19th 2010 - Two teens drowned in an unauthorized Bronx swimming hole this Sunday. Neighbors claim that such a tragic incident happened after many of them survived near misses and broken bones.
15-year-old Cinnamin Clark said that people often jumped from the rocks to dive into the swimming hole. A young girl recently broke her arm after such an act.

Autistic Man from New York Died in Van

New York, NY July 27, 2010 - An autistic man was found dead in a van as he was left alone in the scorching heat.
He was later on identified as 20-year-old Brian Nevins who hailed from New York. This incident happened outside a residential home in Langhorne, Pennsylvania wherein people having different disabilities are taken care of.
Middletown Township police have said that Nevins was left unaccompanied for five hours inside the van on the Woods Services campus after a trip to Sesame Place.

New York Construction Accident Inspector pleaded not guilty

New York, NY July 26, 2010 - Edward Maquate, an inspector was charged for the false claim of having inspected a New York construction crane, which collapsed in the month of March 2008, leading to the death of seven people. A 38 year old man, Miguel Rodriguez died in a scaffolding accident at Morningside Heights construction site on Thursday.
The victim fell five stories to his death when his scaffolding collapsed. He was wearing a safety harness, but it was not tethered to the building.
Malik Hussain, 26, who is the owner of Classic Painting & Restoration Inc., told city officials probing the death that there was a rigging foreman present at the Morningside Heights site, a safety measure required by law, the Department of Investigation said.

Brooklyn Woman Died on Hospital Floor due to Blood Clots.

The attorney for the family who has filed the case against Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn said that the victim died from blood clots. These clots were developed due to inactivity after waiting for more than 24 hours in the psychiatric ward of Kings County Hospital.
The surveillance video clearly showed Esmeen Green fell from her seat after waiting for more than 24 hours in the psychiatric ward. She was shaking on the floor, and was left unattended for more than 1 hour. Several hospital workers passed by, simply ignoring her.

Man Died in Rockefeller Center Accident, New York City

A man died on Thursday at Rockefeller Center,New York City in an incident involving a conveyor belt.
According to Fire officials the man’s head stuck in the belt on the 33rd floor of 30 Rockefeller Center.
The victim got a cardiac arrest after the incident and was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Till now it is not known how the victim got stuck in the conveyor belt.
