Brooklyn, New Yor, August 2nd 2010 - According to police and eyewitnesses, on Sunday, 12:10 a.m. in the Fifth Ave. near 12th St. in Park Slope, Brooklyn, a gang of 20 people beat up a man to death with tire iron, stabbed and injured the other. Both the men were attacked on the either side of the avenue.
The police did not disclose the name of the deceased person but said that he was 22-year old man. The other injured person who was 20 years of age was taken to the Lutheran Hospital where his condition remained stable.

Toddler Shot in Brooklyn, NYC

Brooklyn, New York 27 Jul 2010 - NYC police have detained two people who were involved in a gun-firing incident that resulted in an injury of a 19-month old girl in her leg.
The baby who was injured on her right leg is now in a stable condition. Police said that the duos were gunning for person they had tried to rob previously and hit the toddler who was close by.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said that the 17-year-old and a 24-year-old suspects were detained on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

Girl critically injured in a Hit-and-Run Car Accident, Brooklyn, New York

A nine-year-old girl was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident at Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. She was hit by a tan Nissan Maxima. The driver of the car reportedly fled from the scene.
She was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where she is in critical condition.
Police is searching for the driver who fled from the scene and abandoned the car several blocks away on Park Place.

11-year-old boy killed by speeding car in Brooklyn, New York

An 11-year old boy died after getting hit by a speeding car. The boy named Rondell Grant was attending a family barbeque while he got hit in front of his relatives who were present at the spot. He was rushed to the Kings County Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The impact - captured by a neighbor’s surveillance camera shows Rondell getting hit by the car, and then flying through the air and crashing against a parked scooter.

Brooklyn, New York Teenager Shot Dead

A 17 year old Brooklyn, New York teenager was shot dead while he was sitting on a bench with a friend. The shooting incident was reported outside Bedford-Stuyvesant housing project on Friday.
The victim Bertrand Jocelyn, was shot in the head and died. He was sitting along with his friend who escaped unhurt. The shooter fled the spot and is still at large.
