Due to problems with drunken pedestrians crossing the roadway and being struck by cars, one Romanian town has installed signs warning drivers to look out for drunken pedestrians. The mayor of the Romanian town of Pecica started the initiative. The signs show the image of a drunken person kneeling next to bottle of alcohol and crawling across the street. It also says “Attention – Drunks”. These signs will be put up in towns with an active night life.
