2005 Bronx, New York Murder Case: Three Found Guilty

A Bronx jury, found three men guilty of a gruesome murder in the infamous case 2005 Torturous Bronx Murder.

Prosecutors told Latin Kings members that George Melendez is convicted for first degree murder and Lawrence Perez,Virgilio Samo were found guilty of second degree murder in the killing of Dennis Rivera in 2005.

The court findings were that the men tortured Rivera for a day & a half — forcing him to drink Drano, and branded his genitals with a scalding hammer and putting electric shocks on him.

They then after crushed his throat with a baseball bat, strangled him to death and lit his body on fire in a parking lot behind the Yankee Stadium.

All three men will be waiting for sentenced later this month and face up to life in prison.
